REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of the Project Manager for Combat Ammunition Systems (PM CAS) is conducting a Market Survey to identify potential sources that are capable of providing a range of activities that may include, but is not limited to, manufacture and delivery of M1155A1/ M1155A2 Enhanced Portable Inductive Artillery Fuze Setter (EPIAFS) Systems, XM103 Artillery Precision Guided Munitions Setter (APGMS), XM1219 Precision Guided Munition (PGM) Simulator, APGMS Simulator, Projectile Setter Simulator and Portable Electronic Fire Control System (PEFCS), engineering services, acquiring and training Field Support Representatives (FSR), Operator New Equipment Training (OPNET) and Maintainer New Equipment Training (MNET) services. M1155A1/ M1155A2 (EPIAFS): The M1155A1 and M1155A2 EPIAFS Systems provide the capability to download automated fire control data into Guided Positioning System (GPS) based projectiles for initialization purposes. It is also capable of setting North Atlantic Treaty Organization standard inductive fuzes. Major hardware items include either a M1155A1/ M1155A2 Platform Integration Kit (PIK) or Improved Platform Integration Kit (iPIK), a handheld Inductive Fuze Setter, and a cable tying together M1155A1 PIK to handheld setter and M1155A2 iPIK to handheld setter. Future versions of the EPIAFS will be capable of setting an expanded range of precision munitions. Portable Electronic Fire Control System (PEFCS): The PEFCS is a fire control system that provides mission solution data for the Excalibur 155mm Precision Guided Munition and Precision Guidance Kit (PGK). The PEFCS can be a completely standalone fire control system, or it can be integrated into the host weapon fire control system. The system allows the Excalibur projectile and PGK equipped rounds (as well as any conventional inductive fuzes) to be fired from any compatible gun. The PEFCS consists of the M1155A2 iPIK, handheld setter, iPIK to setter cable, a tactical host computer (for mission data entry), GPS antenna, power adapters and additional cabling. XM103 APGMS: The XM103 APGMS System is still under development but should provide the capability to download automated fire control data into GPS based projectiles for initialization purposes using both inductive and direct set means. It is also capable of setting North Atlantic Treaty Organization standard inductive fuzes. Major hardware items include APGMS Platform I…
