Sources sought for Hawaii Army National Guard (HIARNG) CH-47F and H-60M Aircraft Maintenance Support at Army Aviation Support Facility 1 (AASF #1) at Wheeler AAF, Hawaii. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPIS ISSUED ONLY TO CONDUCT A MARKET RESEARCH STUDY FOR AN ANTICIPATED REQUIREMENT. This is a sources sought announcement seeking vendors that may be able to perform this requirement in order to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested small businesses to respond to this sources sought synopsis. In addition, small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned Small Business concerns), must describe their identifying capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price. This is not a request for quotation or proposal. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. If a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued for this requirement, it will not be issued under this number. This synopsis is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 488190 - Other Support Activities for Air Transportation, with a size standard in number millions of dollars: $40.0. The Hawaii Army National Guard is conducting market research based on the following: Providing sufficient personnel to perform all inspections associated with DA Form 2408-18 intervals, aircraft repair, corrosion control, launch and recovery of aircraft for flight activities, and disabled aircraft recovery support in environments such as hangars, allied shops, aprons, wash racks, and flight lines. Contractor personnel shall possess the following: Program Manager with minimum five (5) years of aviation management experience; Mechanic Lead with minimum three (3) years aviation maintenance or aviation maintenance management experience; and Mechanic Technicians with minimum two (2) years' experience on their assigned mission design series (MDS) (e.g., CH-47F and H-60M). All technicians must possess a working understanding of Army aviation logistics and maintenance platforms specifically demonstrating proficiency in ordering Class IX aircraft parts utilizing the Aircraft Notebook (ACN).
