This announcement constitutes only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition has NO set aside restrictions. All interested contractors may bid. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238210. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. Solicitation number 15BBNF26Q00000079 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), for: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, intends to issue a solicitation for the following requirement: FCI Safford requires the installation of a carbon monoxide detection system to be compatible with the current Edwards EST3 fire alarm system that was installed in 2022. Located at FCI Safford 1529 W. US HWY 366, Safford, AZ 85546 The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and warranties necessary to install the carbon monoxide detection system. The contractor and subcontractors must be reputable, holding valid and current contracting licenses. If required, personnel must provide certifications or documented proof of experience, demonstrating competency in executing the project. Proof must be provided to the Contracting Officer (CO) or COR upon request. All work and materials must comply with applicable local, state, and federal codes, including the latest editions of the International Building Code, NFPA, Life Safety Code, OSHA, American Correctional Association Standards, and other relevant regulations. This project involves the design, supply, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of a Carbon Monoxide (CO) detection system that will be fully interfaced with the existing fire detection and alarm system (FDAS) in accordance with applicable codes and standards. The contractor is required to design and install carbon monoxide (CO) detectors in compliance with the latest National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) that will be compatible with our current Fire Alarm system, the Edwards EST3 system installed in 2022. This scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following tasks as seen in the attached Statement of Work. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price contract. Award will be made to the responsible vendor whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).
