Statement Of Work VMware vSphere Training BACKGROUND Strategic Weapons Facility, Pacific (SWFPAC) requires in‑person, instructor‑led training for 15 personnel on VMware vSphere. The agency's server infrastructure and software-defined data center (SDDC) are standardized on the VMware vSphere 7 platform. This course provides the essential foundational knowledge for operating and maintaining VMware technologies within a software‑defined data center environment. Because vSphere is the core virtualization platform upon which most other VMware solutions depend, this training is critical to ensuring SWFPAC personnel can effectively support, troubleshoot, and optimize the command's virtual infrastructure. SCOPE The contractor shall provide and deliver the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized commercial training course, VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V7]. The purpose of this training is to provide SWFPAC employees with the specific skills needed to manage the agency's standardized VMware virtual infrastructure. The contractor shall provide a complete training package that includes the following: Training Session: A single, five-day, in-person, instructor-led training session conducted onsite at SWFPAC facilities for up to fifteen (15) students. One (1) currently certified VMware Instructor (VCI) to lead the training. Course Content: The training must use the official VMware curriculum, providing hands-on instruction that covers, at a minimum, the following topics: VMware ESXi™ 7 and VMware vCenter Server® 7 VMware vSphere® Client™ vSphere standard and distributed switches VMware vSphere® VMFS datastores VMware vSphere® vMotion® and Storage vMotion® VMware vSphere® High Availability (HA) & Distributed Resource Scheduler™ (DRS) VMware vSphere® Lifecycle Manager™ DELIVERABLES Deliverable Quantity Official VMware Course Materials (Digital or Physical) 15 sets Official VMware Certification Exam Voucher 15 PLACE OF PERFORMANCE Training will be conducted in person at the following location: Bangor Naval Base- Kitsap 2720 Ohio Street, Silverdale, WA 98315 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The training course shall begin no later than 30 September 2026. Vendor will work with government POC after contract award to schedule services. Training shall be tailored to fit an 8-hour day with a 30 minute minimum lunch break. Training shall be conducted between the hours of 0700 and 1600 SPECIAL PROVISIONS/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION BASE ACCESS: Contractors must be able to gain access to SWFPAC on Naval Base Kitsap – Bangor, WA. Base access may be granted using the Rapid Gate System, DBIDS System, or other approved base access system at the Contractor's expense. Once base access is granted, Contractors will be required to apply for a visitor badge (BAVR request) at https://www.bavr.cnic.navy.mil/.
