SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH ONLY – This Notice does not constitute a solicitation announcement or restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, and NO AWARD will occur from this Notice. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT Notice to determine the capabilities of both small AND large business firms. Qualified companies, regardless of their size or socio-economic status, are encouraged to respond. Two or more small business firms capable of performing this work may help to guide the acquisition strategy and influence potential set-aside. Businesses are strongly encouraged to review this SOURCES SOUGHT and to submit according to the directions in this notice. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement for this requirement. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Both Large and Small Business firms who are interested are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. Project Description: The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Duluth Area Office (DuAO) is requesting lawn maintenance on the four quadrants of land located at the Army Corps of Engineers Duluth Area Office and Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center. All work is located at 600 S. Lake Ave, Duluth, MN 55802. The Duluth Area Office and Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center are located in the historic Canal Park at the foot of the Aerial Lift Bridge. The USACE owns and maintains the 4 quadrants of land that the Aerial Lift Bridge is located on. The four quadrants consist of a total of approximately 100,500 SF. Services to be performed include lawn mowing, lawn trimming, mowing cleanup, lawn aeration, lawn fertilizing/pesticides, and spring/fall cleanup.
