INTRODUCTION The Mission and Installation Command (MICC) - Fort Eustis is issuing a sources sought notice (SSN) as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support the requirement for the Maritime & Intermodal Training Department (MITD) FY26 TCS MITD Watercraft Systems Integration. The intention is to procure these services on a competitive basis. A small-business set-aside will be considered, provided 2 or more qualified small businesses respond to this sources sought notice with information sufficient to support a set-aside. We encourage all small business concerns, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women- Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities in meeting the requirement at a fair market price. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the GPE for additional information pertaining to this requirement. PROGRAM BACKGROUND This is a non-personal services contract to provide Watercraft Systems Integration Support to enable the integration and fielding of new Watercraft Systems Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), and training equipment. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. The MITD is the one stop training site for all things Watercraft, Cargo Handling, and Rail Operations. Consisting of two divisions, MITD provides Initial Military Training (IMT) and Sustainment training to transportation Soldiers from both the Active Duty and Reserve Components, as well as civilians and members of other services utilizing a variety of state-of-the-art simulators, trainers, and Subject Matter Experts.
