This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items found at FAR 12.2, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PSNS & IMF, located in Bremerton, WA, is requesting a quote from your firm for the item(s) listed in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). Solicitation number N4523A26Q5709 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for overhaul of a 3408 Caterpillar Engine. The Period of Performance: 10 weeks from award. Competition is full and open to all Offerors who operate a Caterpillar Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Certified repair facility. Quotes must be submitted by 12:00 PM Pacific Time on 6 April 2026. Questions must be submitted by 10:00 AM Pacific Time on 2 April2026. Late offers will not be considered for award. AMENDMENT 1: The quote submission deadline is being updated to 12:00 PM Pacific Time on 7 April 2026.
