Description
This is a pre-solicitation announcement for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to release a Request for Quote (RFQ) for project 652-22-704 Installation of NextGen WIFI to install conduit and CAT6 cabling at the Central VA Health Care system in Richmond, VA. The contractor will provide all transportation, materials, parts, tools, specialized equipment, labor, supervision, and technical expertise to install conduit and CAT 6 cabling as listed in Scope of Work (SOW). This announcement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210 with a size standard of $19 million dollars. IAW FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The approximate solicitation issue date is April 16th, 2026. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract within 120 days from quote receipt date. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of quotes. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to bring all necessary personnel, inclusive of subcontractors, tooling, and materials necessary to any site visit. The government will NOT be providing paper copies of any solicitation, solicitation attachments or annexes, specifications, or drawings. The government will NOT be reimbursing any costs associated with attendance or quote preparation. To be eligible for award, the SDVOSB must be registered and verified in the Small Business Administration Dynamic Small Business Search (SBA DSBS) following website: https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. Potential offerors are further advised that failure to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database will render your firm ineligible for award. The solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: https://sam.gov/. Information on how to register your company, view or receive updates to this notice, please access https://sam.gov/. Any amendments to this solicitation will not be emailed but will be posted at the SAM website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation documents from SAM and acknowledging all amendments to any subsequent solicitation. No paper copies of the impending solicitation will be furnished. No email, fax, or telephone inquiries will be answered as a result of this announcement. No other information regarding scope, dates, etc. is available until issuance of the solicitation. The date and time for site visit will be stated in the issued solicitation. No other site visits will be conducted.
