Description
The Security Assistance program is an important U.S. foreign and national security policy instrument. The principal objectives are to support U.S. goals and strengthen the military capability of selected friendly and allied countries. These programs include Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Foreign Military Construction Services (FMCS), Leases, International Military Education and Training (IMET), Drawdowns, and other special programs. The Army will conduct these activities in compliance with the law and higher-level guidance. The Contractor shall develop all new training requirements for the Army Security Assistance program and maintain and update the current product curriculum. Products shall be conducted in either a classroom environment or as an online capability. The contractor shall ensure all training is complementary to and augments the existing Department of War (DoW) Defense Security Cooperation University (DSCU) curriculum and is not duplicative. Training may vary depending on the Army command or the organization's mission. DASA DE&C will approve the yearly class schedule and student size for each offering. See PWS for additional information. The purpose of Amendment 001 is to provide attachments that do not have restrictions and are fully accessible, provide a revied PWS, and change the description to align with the PWS.
