Request for Information PINGMapper Python Programming Services The U.S. Geological Survey is conducting market research to determine the availability of a qualified business that can provide services as described below. USGS, California Water Science Center (CWSC) requires custom computer programming services capable of expert-level proficiency in PINGMapper and Python programming to modify PINGMapper source code for studies involving reservoir sediments and effects on benthic substrates and ecological habitats in the downstream river environment of Klamath River, California in accordance with the attached performance work statement (PWS). This sources sought announcement is not a request for quote or proposal and the Government is not committed to award a purchase order or contract pursuant to this announcement. The information resulting from this market research is simply for planning purposes to assist the Government in determining its acquisition strategy. The Government will not pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of information for responding to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code NAICS 541511 Custom Computer Programming Services, associated size standard of $34 million applies to this announcement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement and relevant literature detailing the ability of fully meeting the requirement as described in the attached performance work statement (PWS). All responses shall be limited to 10 pages. Responses to this announcement shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to Joahnne_Ongjoco@ios.doi.gov and must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than May 26, 2026 at 0900 hours Eastern Time. Responses submitted by hardcopy, or the SAM web portal shall not be accepted or considered.
