The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to Sole Source to inform industry contractors of the Government s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under the authority of Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Part 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The intended contractor is 7th Avenue Care Center, LLC., located at 1171 7th Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95062. The Department of Veteran Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) is seeking to negotiate a sole source award to 7th Avenue Care Center, LLC. for Community Nursing Home Services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is, 623110 Nursing Care Facilities (Skilled Nursing Facilities). Product and Service Code for this requirement is Q402 Medical Nursing Home, Long-Term, and Adult Day Care Services. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this sector is $34.0 million. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
