Contracting Office Address: United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Manchester VAMC, Box 90C RPO West Minor Leasing, Attn: Tammy Fox, 518 Symth Rd, Manchester, NH 03104 Description: The VA seeks to lease 12,000sf of medical / clinical space and rights to ample parking spaces for use by the VA as a Medical Clinic within the delineated area of the city limits of Providence, Rhode Island, and within a 15-minute commute from the Providence VA Medical Center. VA will consider space located in an existing building as well as new construction. ABOA (also known as net useable) is generally defined as the space remaining once common areas, Lessor areas, and areas required by code are deducted from the rentable square feet (RSF) of the facility. ABOA does not include areas such as stairs, elevators, mechanical and utility rooms, ducts, shafts, vestibules, public corridors, and public toilets required by local code. Parking space requirement is 100 parking spaces, 5 per 1,000 rentable square feet offered, whichever is greater, and must include a minimum of 10 handicapped accessible spaces at the main entrance.
