The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (USP) McCreary, intends to issue solicitation 15B12026Q00000005 for Quarterly Certified Halal Meals . In accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) , this requirement is for food products delivered FOB Destination to USP McCreary, 330 Federal Way, Pine Knot, KY 42635. The contract type is firm-fixed-price. The Government reserves the right to make single or multiple awards to the responsible offeror(s) whose quote is most advantageous to the Government. Evaluation factors include price and past performance . The solicitation will be available on or about May 06, 2026 , and will be posted exclusively to https://sam.gov . Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site for all updates and amendments. Bids must be received no later than May 14, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST . Please note that deliveries will begin July 1, 2026 , and will not be accepted prior to that date. Payments will be processed via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or via Government Purchase Card for awards of $15,000.00 or less. Per FAR 52.212-3 , all offerors must have an active registration and completed representations and certifications within the System for Award Management (SAM) ; the legacy ORCA system is no longer in use.
