All information contained in this Source Sought Announcement is preliminary, as well as subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the Government. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request. The information requested will be used solely within the Department of Veterans Affairs to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. The determination of a procurement strategy, based upon the comments submitted in response to this Sources Sought Announcement, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Fresno VA Medical Center located at 2615 East Clinton Avenue, Fresno, CA 93703-2223 is seeking a qualified General Contractor to construct Project 570-23-223, Renovate BLDG 1, 1st Floor Acute Respiratory Clinic. The general scope of this requirement is to renovate the existing space to create an acute respiratory clinic (ARC) at the front of building 1, main hospital. Space will include a secondary front entrance into a separated clinic suite where seasonal flu and pandemic triage procedures may be followed. The intent of the clinic is to serve a dual function. During normal operating conditions it shall be an expansion of Primacy Care (PC) space or procedure space. When activated in response to seasonal influenza or future pandemic measures the suite will be isolated with controlled access, a designated entrance for patients presenting for care, and negative pressure HVAC system.
