Former General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (FGLWACH) Pre-Demolition Environmental SurveyFort Leonard Wood, MO W912DQ26RA082 CONTRACT INFORMATION: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Kansas City District (NWK) intends solicit, negotiate, and award a one-time Small Business Set Aside, Firm-Fixed-Price, Architect-Engineer (AE) contract to complete a thorough inspection of all identified buildings. The inspection is required to identify the presence, location, and quantities of potentially hazardous and other regulated materials that will require either abatement or special disposal requirements when the FGLWACH is demolished. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541620 Environmental Consulting Services Small Business Size Standard is $19.0 million Estimated Magnitude of the Service: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 The requirement is being set-aside for Small Businesses. The actual solicitation will be posted and available on SAM.gov on or about 30 April 2026. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days later. The solicitation and any issued amendments will include the proposal submission and evaluation criteria, and shall establish the actual proposal due date. Synopsis of the Scope of Work:The FGLWACH is scheduled to be demolished. This demolition effort shall consist of the complete removal of the following buildings, Hospital and Clinic (B310), Central Utility Plant (B311), associated Infectious Waste Storage structure, Ambulance Garage, and Temporary Helipad. The tasks include verifying current information provided in the AE-0 Planning Study and updating information in the Pre-Demolition Inspection Report. Assess the Hospital and Clinic, Central Utility Plant, associated Infectious Waste Storage structure, and Ambulance Garage for additional asbestos and other regulated material through destructive testing as needed. Provide any information on types, quantities, and locations of any hazardous material in the Pre-Demolition Inspection Report. Identify any storage tank locations, contents, and if any leakage has occurred. Provide information in the Pre-Demolition Inspection Report. Prior to demolition activities, the Contractor must complete a thorough inspection of all identified buildings. This inspection is required to identify the presence, location, and quantities of potentially hazardous and other regulated materials that will require either abatement or special disposal requirements when those buildings are demolished.
