INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) NOTICE 2-1-QSC-T-26-054 DEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap Term Contract NASA Wallops Flight Facility – Wallops Island, VA 23337 NOTE: Amendment 1 has been issued for this solicitation. The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the sale and recurring removal of Government-generated DEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap located at NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, Virginia. This solicitation establishes a term contract for the sale of scrap property, with removal required as a condition of sale. The successful bidder shall remove scrap material on a recurring, as-needed basis in coordination with the Agency Government Representative (AGR), and in accordance with all site-specific operational, security, and safety requirements. Certified weight tickets are required; contractor-owned scales are not permitted. Performance Guarantee of $15,000 required post-award. All amendments must be acknowledged. Failure to meet these requirements may result in the bid being deemed non-responsive. SITE ACCESS / SECURITY NASA Wallops Flight Facility is a secured Federal installation. Advance coordination is required for all site access. Visitor registration and approval are required prior to arrival. Access is restricted to U.S. citizens with valid identification.
