United States Capitol Police Industry Day The United States Capitol Police (USCP) will be hosting an Industry Day on June 10, 2026 at 09:00 a.m. located at the Library of Congress, Mumford Room, Sixth Floor. We are a Law Enforcement Operating Environment. Contractors support operations in sensitive law enforcement environments that require professionalism, discretion, responsiveness, and compliance with security requirements. The Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) invites interested vendors, including new and non-traditional contractors, to attend an Industry Day focused on educating industry on the mission, operational environment, and acquisition methods of a Legislative Branch law enforcement agency. This event is for contractors interested in doing business with the USCP and is open to any business. Government regularly hosts “Industry Day” events in order to provide information on pending procurements, encourage competition, create a level playing field for all potential offerors, and educate offerors on procurement practices and policies. The USCP's Office of Acquisition Management (OAM) is comprised of two operations team supporting various USCP bureaus and offices. These Bureaus and Offices contract services in a variety of industries to include: • Administrative Goods and Services • Facility Management • Vehicle and Fleet Maintenance • Information Technology Goods and Services • Information Security Goods and Services • Law Enforcement Goods and Services • Law Enforcement Training • Intelligence Services • Emergency Management Goods and Services • Health and Wellness Goods and Services The USCP uses a wide variety of contracting methods to procure products and services, including but not limited to: • Request for Proposals (RFP) • Request for Quotation (RFQ) • Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) • Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) • Purchase Orders (PO) • Government Purchase Card transactions USCP also collaborates with other legislative branch entities and may leverage their awarded contract vehicles as a reach-back source for select services, as appropriate.
