Buy American Act (BAA) Requested for Quote: Technical specifications listed below: The University will evaluate the offeror's proposal to confirm ability to design, manufacture, and deliver a custom biaxial thermomechanical stage Compatible with SAXS/WAXS Beamlines meeting all specified parameters, including: Temperature range: RT to 250°C Sample thermal area: 200 × 200 mm Motorized movement range: 0 – 200 mm Minimum sample size: 10 mm × 10 mm Gas-purge capability up to 0.5 Bar 2-axis tensile tension via stepper motors with 20N or 200N force sensors ±60° optical access from one side of sample Slotted transmission aperture and underside window Kapton windows Convection heating Vertical stage mounting The University will evaluate the offeror's demonstrated ability to produce a stage meeting all physical and performance specifications. EPICS Software Integration. The University will evaluate the offeror's ability to provide EPICS software integration for both tensile and temperature control, compatible with customer instrumentation at SLAC/Stanford University. Offeror must demonstrate prior experience or a credible plan for integration with EPICS-based control systems. . Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Prior to shipment and final acceptance, the Supplier shall perform factory acceptance testing using standard reference materials, including polymer films such as Polyethylene (PE), to verify: Biaxial tensile actuation Force measurement accuracy Displacement repeatability Temperature control performance Software communication functionality The Supplier shall provide documented test results and calibration records demonstrating compliance with all specified system performance requirements prior to shipment. the project timeline of not more than 5 months from receipt of order. The schedule shall include a clear breakdown of all major milestones, including design, fabrication, testing, and final delivery for the custom designing if needed.
