Award Description: The primary scope of work of the project is the removal/replacement of damaged asphalt sections via asphalt patching to restore roadway stability. Approximately 16,310 square feet of asphalt roadway patching and repairs at Olmsted Locks and Dam. Solicitation Description: ***ONLY OPEN TO MATOC POOL W9123723D0003 THROUGH W9123723D0007 FOR SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE*** With this Request for Proposal (RFP), the Contractor shall furnish all necessary management, personnel, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, fuel, and vehicles, except as otherwise provided herein, required to provide roadway surface repairs and construct new headwalls, wingwalls and a culvert replacement for Access Road 53 at the Olmsted Locks and Dam located at Olmsted, Illinois, as specified and in strict accordance with all Terms, Conditions, General, Specific and Technical Provisions, Drawings, Attachments, Exhibits, etc., contained herein or incorporated by reference. The Contractors work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications and inspection necessary to assure that all services are conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. The Contractor is required to attend a pre-performance meeting to be scheduled by the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC). Method of Payment under this contract will be Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to a commercial bank account specified by the contractor. One award will be made from this Solicitation. The contract award will be based on Lowest Price to the Government. The solicitation will be available on the web only. Faxed, telephoned, or mailed requests for this solicitation will not be honored. To download the solicitation for this project, contractors are required to register at the Federal Contract Opportunities website at SAM.gov. Technical questions pertaining to this project shall be posted to ProjNet per the instructions incorporated into the solicitation. Contractors are NOT to contact the Technical Point of Contact(s) (TPOCs) listed about the solicitation until an award has been made. No site visit will be held for this project. Please refer to the attached specifications, drawings, and pictures included in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Proposals will not be accepted for quantities less than the quantities specified in the price breakout schedule.
