CANCELLATION NOTICE - MAY 07, 2026: ATOM-6 Procurement (80ARC025RFIATOM6) NASA has determined that the requirements under the Aerospace Testing and Facilities Operations and Maintenance (ATOM) contract constitute core agency competencies. In accordance with the Workforce Directive, these functions will be performed by civil service personnel. Consequently, the ATOM-6 procurement is discontinued, and no solicitation will be issued. NASA Ames Research Center appreciates the industry's engagement and interest in this requirement. --- AMENDMENT 01: JANUARY 29, 2026 --- Industry Engagement and Capability Briefings: Aerospace Testing and Facilities Operations and Maintenance (ATOM-6) Overview: The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Ames Research Center is offering one virtual one-on-one meetings to facilitate market research for the ATOM-6 requirement. Meeting Purpose and Format: These sessions are intended to allow industry to present their specific capabilities, experience, and feedback regarding the ATOM-6 scope. Please note: The Government will not be providing a formal presentation or briefing during these sessions. The meetings are dedicated to industry-led discussion and information gathering for acquisition planning purposes. Duration: 30 minutes. Availability Meetings will be held via Microsoft Teams (External participants may join via phone) on Monday-Thursday between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. PT starting February 23, 2026, through March 19, 2026 . Pre-Solicitation Conference NASA anticipates hosting a formal Pre-Solicitation Conference after the release of the Draft RFP, where the Government will provide more detailed program information for an additional one virtual one-on-one meeting. Please provide three (3) preferred dates and times within the windows listed above. --- END OF AMENDMENT --- The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Ames Research Center (ARC) is hereby soliciting information and feedback to identify potential sources for providing testing, operations, and maintenance of the Wind Tunnel, Arc Jets, High Energy Facilities, and associated support facilities at NASA ARC. These facilities include but are not limited to: Unitary Plan Wind Tunnels (UPWT), Fluid Mechanics Laboratory (FML), Anechoic Test Chamber/Acoustics Laboratory, Arc Jet Complex, Ballistic Range Complex, Electric Arc Shock Tube (EAST) Facility, Sensor and Thermal Protection System Advanced Research Lab (STAR Lab), and Planetary Aeolian Laboratory (PAL).
