Notice of Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR part 12. This announcement constitutes only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition IS set-aside for Total Small Business concerns. The NAICS code for this requirement is 237110, with a small business size standard of $45 million. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. Solicitation number 15B10126Q00000012 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Prison Camp Alderson, intends to issue a solicitation for the following requirement: FPC Alderson requires the reconditioning of: One (1) 100,000-gallon elevated water storage tank (leg or pedestal style) – interior and exterior – and one (1) 400,000-gallon ground water storage tank – interior and exterior. The contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, tools, labor, materials, supervision and warranties necessary to recondition the water tanks. The reconditioning shall comply with all Federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and standards, including the latest editions of the International Building Code, NFPA, Life Safety Code, OSHA, American Correctional Association Standards, and other relevant regulations. Manufacturers' recommendations will be required to be implemented. The contractor [& any subcontractors, if applicable] must be reputable, holding valid and current contracting licenses. If required, personnel must provide certification or documented proof of experience, demonstrating competency in executing the project. Proof must be provided to the Contracting Officer (CO) or COR upon request. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks as seen in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price contract. Award will be made to the responsible vendor whose quotation conforms to the solicitation and is determined to be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Technical acceptability and price will be evaluated in accordance with the solicitation. Any and all information will be posted to the General Services Administration, SAM.Gov website: www.sam.gov.
