The United States Army Contracting Command – New Jersey, on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armaments Center (DEVCOM AC) at Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is conducting market research to determine the capability of businesses to provide Engineering, technical, logistics, and management support services for the DEVCOM AC Fire Control Systems & Technology Directorate. DESCRIPTION The U.S. Army Contracting Command, New Jersey (CCNJ) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command – Armaments Center (DEVCOM AC) to determine if there are interested and qualified small business and expertise to assess capabilities to provide support for Indirect Fire Control Systems, Artillery Fire Control Systems, Mortar Fire Control Systems, Fire Control Software, Small Arms Fire Control, Optics, and Firing Table Support, for the below effort. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, material, tools, supervision, quality control, and other items necessary to provide engineering services to support on-going development projects that support Fire Control Systems & Technology Directorate. The work shall consist of design, development, production support, and sustainment for digital, mechanical and electromechanical components of fire control. The contractor shall have the capabilities to provide and support enhancements to fielded items. The majority of the effort includes Fire Control related items and products. The coding on these projects shall be done using various programming languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, Java, Python, Ada, and FORTRAN. The Contractor shall be required to have extensive experience in all the above listed languages. The Contractor shall have considerable experience and expertise in the life cycle support of Fire Control Systems. The Contractor's responsibility shall include, but not limited to, Fire Control Engineering, systems engineering analysis, and scientific studies of fire control systems.
