Responses to this Sources Sought Announcement must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Background: The Puget Sound VA Medical Center Nutrition & Food Services, located in Seattle, WA is seeking a contractor to provide two 2-section reach-in display refrigerators (Traulsen Model RHT232DUT-FHG or equivalent). The Refrigerators must meet the below Salient Characteristics. Salient Characteristics The refrigerators shall have maximum dimensions of 48 W x 30 D Interior & exterior surfaces must be made from stainless steal to allow for easy cleaning. The refrigerators must have full-height glass doors. The doors must be self-closing & also have stay-open functionality. The refrigerators must have adjustable shelves. The refrigerators must have sets of (4) casters with brakes to easily move the equipment. Electrical requirements: 115v/60/1-ph, 10.3 amps, with NEMA 5-15P cord & plug attached. The refrigerators must meet National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) requirements & only be constructed from Food & Drug Administration (FDA)-approved materials. The refrigerators must have a built-in thermometer with temperature controls & a digital display.
