This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 36. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition IS set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. Solicitation number 15BBNF26Q00000086 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), for: The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, intends to issue a solicitation for the following requirement: FCI Oxford, intends to procure services for the demolition and replacement of the existing Education chair lift , which is no longer operable and has exceeded its service life. Work includes disconnecting and protecting existing electrical service, removing the current lift assembly, and furnishing and installing a new ADA‑compliant inclined platform lift , Basis of Design: Garaventa GSL Artira or approved equal. The new lift system will include a complete platform assembly, drive and guide‑rail components, obstruction‑sensing devices, passenger restraining arms, retractable boarding ramps, kick plates, safety lighting, hand grips, low‑voltage controls, emergency stop features, and keyless operation. The contractor will also provide a new drive cabinet, integrated disconnect, battery backup system, call stations at each landing, and all associated programming, testing, and adjustments. All work must comply with ASME A18.1, ADA‑ABA requirements, NFPA, NEC, and all applicable Federal, State, and local codes. Installation shall be performed by manufacturer‑certified technicians, and the contractor shall provide all required submittals, safety plans, quality control documentation, testing, and closeout materials. The performance period for the project will be 140 Calendar Days from issuance of the notice to proceed.
