Core Requirements: Response Time: Pick up remains within two (2) hours of notification from the Correctional Services Supervisor. Preparation & Embalming: Perform arterial or sectional embalming (for autopsied cases), restorative work (derma-surgery, cosmetics), and dressing to ensure a lifelike appearance. Disposition Options: Local Burial: Coordination with FCC Coleman Supervisory Chaplain for ceremonies atcemeteries within a 50-mile radius. Shipment of Remains: Coordination of air, rail, or ground transport to the inmate's place of conviction or legal residence within the US/Territories. Cremation: Execution of cremation services upon written authorization and shipment of ashes via U.S. Mail (Certified).
