(End Amendment One)..................... 300 and .338 Norma Magnum (NM)Market Survey DESCRIPTION: The United States (U.S.) Army Contracting Command, New Jersey (ACC-NJ) on behalf of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS) is seeking to identify potential sources for the manufacture and delivery of.300 Norma Magnum (NM), M1163, Ball Ammunition, Department of Defense Identification Code (DODIC): AC33 and .338 NM, M1162, Armor Piercing (AP) Ammunition, DODIC: AC32. Each DODIC will be fired from the Mk22 Precision Sniper Rifle. SPECIFICATIONS: The .300 NM Ball and the .338 NM AP cartridges will be procured to a U.S. Government Owned Technical Data Package (TDP). In addition, the cartridges must meet the requirements included in the Detailed Specifications for M1162 (MIL-DTL-32619) and M1163 (MIL-DTL-32618). TDP Upper-level drawings and Detailed Specifications may be provided upon request. The TDP Upper-level drawings are Distribution Statement A. Distribution A means distribution is authorized for public release. The Detailed Specifications are Distribution Statement D. Distribution D means distribution is authorized to the Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. DoD contractors only (Critical Technology). The TDP and Detailed Specifications contain technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Sec 2751 of Title 22, United States Code) or the Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (Chapter 58 Sections 4801-4852 of Title 50, United States Code). Violations of these export laws are subject to severe criminal penalties. Disseminate only in accordance with provisions of DoD Directive 5230.25 and DoD Instruction 2040.02.
