By using IPP, vendors can receive electronic Purchase Orders (POs) and send electronic invoices, either through file exchange or by pulling data for invoices directly from POs. IPP also provides online access to invoice status and payment information, including offsets. Prior to transition to use of IPP the clause entitled Invoice Processing Platform-Alternate I (Dec 2022) shall apply to all existing contract actions for these bureaus/offices. If not already enrolled, the Contractor Government Business Point of Contact (as listed in SAM) will receive enrollment instructions via email within three to five business days of the addition of the contract award to IPP, which is anticipated to occur in the October 2026 timeframe.
