The objective of this sole source award is to procure annual preventive maintenance (PM) services in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) PM checklists for Preventive Maintenance for Alinity S analyzer. Maintaining the Alinity S analyzer's performance according to manufacturer specifications, including annual preventive maintenance (PM), is crucial. These manufacturer-recommended PMs are required to ensure accurate and reliable results, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements for nucleic acid testing, and directly impact patient care decisions. A Notice of Intent to Sole Source was issued on July 7, 2026 and closed July 22, 2026 allowing potential vendors to provide capability statements meeting the Government's minimum requirements. No additional parties submitted capability statements for the Government's consideration. Abbott Laboratories is the sole manufacturer of the Alinity s System. Abbott Laboratories is the only source who has the capability to service this analyzer and provide Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specification and parts. Based on the analysis of the market research completed, Abbott Laboratories, Inc. is the only vendor capable of meeting the Government's requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation document exists for this requirement.
