VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System is seeking a contractor to remove and replace the pressure-reducing valve station at Building 200 of the VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. 2.2. Background. The high-pressure steam piping system is deteriorating and the valves require replacement. The valves no longer seal to stop steam from entering the building. The traps and piping are also deteriorated and require replacement. . 2.3. Scope. This project consists of the removal and replacement of Pressure Reducing Valve Station at VA Sepulveda Building 200. The existing parts will be replaced with new Armstrong GP-2000 Carbon Steel steam regulators, along with associated steam traps, piping, and fittings. We will also be installing a new Quadax isolation valve on the station. Contractor must be able to provide this brand name or equivalent equipment if it meets the specifications attached to the solicitation.
