THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide Upgrade of Tecniplast Rack Washer and Acquisition of 2 Tecniplast Bedding Dispensers as outlined below in support of the Veterans Health Administration, VA Puget Sound Health Care System, 1660 South Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108. Potential candidates having the capabilities necessary to provide for this requirement at a fair and reasonable price are invited to respond to this Sources Sought Notice via e-mail to Nazanin Kreiner at Nazanin.kreiner@va.gov no later than July 17, 2026, 1PM, Mountain Time. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Company name, address, SAM UEI, and business size; point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address; whether services are presently offered on a current GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract, NASA SEWP, or any other Federal contract. NAICS Code 33999 with size standard of 550 employees, is applicable to determine business size standard. Please indicate whether proposed system is manufactured in the United States. Salient Characteristics For Upgrade of Tecniplast Rack Washer and Acquisition of 2 Tecniplast Bedding Dispensers in the Veterinary Medical Unit Background The Veterinary Medical Unit at VA Puget Sound has a requirement for upgrades to and replacement of equipment used to clean and to fill rodent housing cages with fresh bedding. The requested equipment has been approved and supported by VA Office of Research and Development through the LAM (Laboratory Animal Major Equipment) grant mechanism. The Tecniplast rack washer (Tecniplast Model RW900GP, SN 901507) was installed as new equipment in 2012, and is now 14 years old. This washer is key to our facility s function, in use every day of the week to clean cages, cage lids and wire-bar tops, feeders, bottles, enrichment items/cage furniture, cage racks, buckets and food barrels, and carts. For this reason, we need to extend the functionality of the Tecniplast rack washer now in use. A curated list of parts was provided by the Tecniplast technician.
