The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul of the following assets: NOMENCLATURE: CH-47 Accumulator, Hydraulic INPUT/OUTPUT NSN: 1650-01-246-9554 INPUT/OUTPUT P/N: 28 60003-5 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 10 each – Maximum 58 each. Maximum of 58 each includes a quantity of 8 each Foreign Military Sales (FMS). This requirement is to fulfill the government's need for the overhaul of the CH-47 Accumulator, Hydraulic, NSN 1650-01-246-9554. The proposed contractual action is a three-year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) overhaul contract. The Accumulator, Hydraulic is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with Government specifications. The overhaul requires the complete restoration of unserviceable assets to a like-new, fully serviceable, and air-worthy condition in accordance with the specifications in the Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1650-412&P, dated 04/17/2020. This effort is essential for the ongoing sustainment and operational readiness of the CH-47 fleet. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. An Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued at a later date for this requirement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. The closing date annotated is an estimated date dependent upon the date of the release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not open prior to the closing date stated on the synopsis.
