he Germino Laboratory within the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, Kidney Diseases Branch requires the acquisition of a digital microscope slide scanner. This system will be used to convert standard glass microscope slides into digital images for viewing, review, sharing, and storage in support of laboratory research activities. The laboratory performs slide-based analysis as part of ongoing research efforts and requires the ability to access and review slide materials in a digital format within the laboratory environment.
