The follow-on contract was awarded 08 July 2026 as a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) IDIQ-D type contract with a 6-year period of performance. The SSS contract provides support for the C-5 Galaxy aircraft through Software Updates (SU), Software Maintenance, Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) Maintenance, Engineering and Technical Support, and Software Engineering Support services. The effort is sole source to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics (LMA). CAGE: 98897, IAW FAR 6.302-1-Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
