No contract will be awarded from this Sources Sought Notice. Participation in this RFI is strictly voluntary. No reimbursement will be made for any cost associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought or any follow-up information requests. Submission of a response does not obligate the Government in any way and will not affect a firm's ability to submit a proposal if a solicitation is issued in the future. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE). PURPOSE The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Seattle District, on behalf of Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), is conducting market research to support acquisition of an estimated $300M MATOC to support Facilities Sustainment, Restoration, and Modernization (FSRM) construction efforts. This Market Research will help USACE determine the availability and capabilities of firms working within this NAICS code. The responses to this Notice will also be used to help determine whether a small business or socio-economic set-aside may be suitable to apply to this potential procurement. 3. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION The purpose of this MATOC will be to support primarily general construction activities at JBLM and its sub-installations (Lewis Main, McChord Field, and Yakima Training Center), including but not limited to renovation, repairs, minor building expansions and pre-engineered buildings (not to exceed the statutory limit for new construction), preventative maintenance, environmental abatement, erosion control and earthwork. The JBLM FSRM Program includes operational facilities, training sites, administrative spaces, barracks/troop housing, utility infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, fire protection), and site work for JBLM Garrison facilities. Projects will span multiple facility types across JBLM. Task Orders under this MATOC are primarily intended to provide a timely procurement response to general construction work such as remediation of facilities, e.g., maintenance, repair, asbestos and lead-based paint abatement, and minor construction situations relating to but not limited to: …
