The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes.  DRAFT SCOPE: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to identify qualified sources capable of providing Linen Supply and Laundry Processing Services for the Cincinnati VA Medical Center (CVAMC) and all associated locations, including the domiciliary and outpatient clinics. The requirement includes furnishing, delivering, picking up, laundering, and returning clean linens and related textile items necessary to support CVAMC operations. A non inclusive list of items includes general hospital linens, operating room linens, scrubs, mops, warm up jackets, tablecloths, hampers, laundry bags, towels, sheets, and gowns. The contractor will also be responsible for laundering Government owned items such as specialty sheets, spreads, and pillows. The estimated annual linen volume is approximately 700,000 pounds. This estimate is provided solely for informational and market research purposes, and the forthcoming solicitation will include a refined and more accurate workload estimate based on updated facility data. We are proposing a Shortened Base + 3 (1-year) Option Periods contract for this requirement. Please see next page.
