MD16 and SS17 FCDCs are used in the emergency canopy removal system of the Cobra helicopter to provide an interconnecting explosive media between the four-way manifold and the Window Cutting Assembly (WCA) of the pilot’s door (MD16) and gunner’s door (SS17).
