Request for Information (RFI) for Portfolio Acquisition Executive Fires (PAE Fires) Project Manager, PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment (PGSE) SYNOPSIS The Army Contracting Command Redstone, Arsenal Alabama is issuing this RFI as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide the manufacturing and repair of United States (US) and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Phased Array Tracking Radar to Intercept on Target (PATRIOT) Cooler Liquid Electron Tube (CLET) Pump. The specific requirement is for Part Number 11463449-2 / NSN 6105-01-224-5813 and Part Number 11463449-3 / NSN 6105-01-599-6729. Use of the specific part number is required; however, the part is not proprietary. The Government will consider a comparable alternative that meets fit, form, and function; however, the Government will require design data prior to considering any contract award. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this notice, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. Multiple awards may be made. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. PROGRAM BACKGROUND The US Army, Integrated Fires Mission Command Project Office has identified a need to procure CLET Pumps, Part Number 11463449-2 / NSN 6105-01-224-5813 and Part Number 11463449-3 / NSN 6105-01-599-6729 (or comparable alternatives meeting fit, form, and function). The Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) may conduct a pre-award survey of the contractor's facility to determine the capability to successfully fulfill the requirements of this contract. To minimize risk to the PATRIOT program, Product Acceptance, Physical Configuration Audit, and Production Qualification Testing may be required. The Technical Data Package (TDP) for this procurement is available at this time. The Government has unlimited rights to the TDP and will provide the TDP to vendors that request it or respond to this RFI whom the Government deems technically capable.
