AMENDMENT NO. 2 SOLICITATION NO. 36C24126Q0544 DATE: 6/25/2026 1. THE SOLICITATION IS HEREBY AMENDED AS FOLLOWS: a. The following Questions and Answers, submitted by prospective offerors by June 12, 2026, are incorporated into this solicitation. b. The Government s responses modify and/or clarify the solicitation. c. Extension of Responses Due Date: The due date for the submission of quotes has been extended. New Due Date: July 8, 2026 Time: 4:00 PM EST d. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged. Vendors are reminded to review all other aspects of the solicitation and consider this amendment when preparing their responses. 2. RFI QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Can the Government provide the manufacturer, model number, capacity, dimensions, voltage, control type, and available cut sheets for the existing fan coil units in Room 1171 and Room 3126B? There is no current name plate information on the existing units. Are mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, architectural, electrical, or as-built drawings available for these areas, including riser diagrams, piping schematics, equipment schedules, or electrical diagrams? No record drawings are available. Contractor is expected to perform a field verification of all equipment and materials required to complete this work. For the similar model of size and capabilities requirement, can the Government provide the manufacturer/model information, nameplate data, or photos for the reference units serving Rooms 1172 and 3126A? See below image. Are equivalent replacement units acceptable if they match the required capacity, dimensions, voltage, and utility connections, or must the replacement units match the existing manufacturer/model? Yes Please confirm whether new thermostats, controls, control wiring, control valves, actuators, strainers, unions, balancing valves, condensate components, or steam traps are required as part of the replacement scope. Condensate is gravity and actuator is pneumatic; wiring for new FCU s may be required per equipment. Please confirm whether the contractor is responsible for startup, testing, balancing, commissioning, and documenting chilled water and steam performance after installation. Contractor is responsible for start-up, testing, and balancing. Commissioning is not required for services contracts. Chilled water service only; steam is utilized for perimeter heating and is not associated with FCU s. Please confirm whether the work can be isolated locally at each fan coil unit, or whether a branch, floor, or full building shutdown/drain-down will be required for either location. The SOW requires the contractor to investigate this, but pricing is significantly impacted by whether local isolation or full system reduction is required. No isolation at each unit; but will need to be included in the replacement. Service valves will need to be installed.
