The project consists of rehabilitation of the following roadway segments: ¿ RT#011 Puerto Ferro Peninsula Rd ¿ RT#010 Main Rd ¿ RT#102 Tres Palmitas Rd ¿ RT#017ZZ La Plata Rd ¿ La Chiva Rd Work generally includes scarifying, grading, shaping, sloping, compacting, hauling and placement of Government-Furnished Materials (GFM), and limited cold asphalt roadway repairs. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, transportation, heavy equipment, tools, quality control, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Government-Furnished Materials include substantial quantities of aggregate surface and subsurface roadway materials staged at a designated stockpile location within the refuge. The work will be performed in a remote island environment requiring contractor coordination for transportation, staging, logistics, and equipment mobilization associated with Vieques, Puerto Rico. The anticipated Period of Performance is anticipated to be approximately six (6) months from issuance of Notice to Proceed.
