Description: The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone, Operations, Services, & Training Division, plans to obtain information to serve as market research to help identify potential sources that can provide a brand name purchase of two (2) Wind Tunnels that will be used by USATA Engineers and Technicians to provide OCONUS support to customers owning wind speed measuring devices (hot-wire anemometers). Industrial hygiene and chemical testing facilities are impacted by the increased turn-around time of sending their equipment to the APSL. The Wind Tunnels shall include the following specifications or equivalent (if not brand name): Requirements : The wind tunnel shall generate air speeds ranging from 1.5 to 50 m/s. Air speed measuring equipment shall be provided and shall have a total measurement uncertainty less than or equal to 0.75% of reading.
