Core Work Requirements Valve Replacement: Remove the existing inground 2.5-inch valve connecting city water to underground piping. Piping Replacement: Remove and replace approximately 25 feet of below-ground PVC piping. Remove and replace approximately 65 feet of above-ground 2.5-inch Schedule 80 PVC piping running across the wooden railing towards the tramway. Tramway Routing: Add a reducer from 2.5-inch to 2.0-inch Schedule 80 PVC to run underneath the tramway and down approximately 88 feet. Hookups: Create two sections teeing off the 2-inch PVC, reducing to 1.5-inch Schedule 80 PVC, serving as potable water access hookups next to the tram's two highest pins (approx. 87 feet apart). Each side will feature a bleed valve (facing up), a cut-off valve, and a 1.5-inch NH thread adapter (facing down). Utility Coordination: Contractor must coordinate with the city water company for shutoff and activation. Water cannot be shut off longer than a single workday.
