The War Media Activity (WMA) Headquarters (HQ) intends to execute a sole-source, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) bridge contract with Taft Broadcasting Company, LLC (CAGE: 1PHJ1) to provide Audio-Visual Maintenance support services for WMA HQ. The anticipated award will consist of a 6-month base period, for an estimated period of performance of 01 September 2026 through 28 February 2027. The regulatory authority which permits this non-competitive acquisition is Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-2, “Unusual and compelling urgency”. This authority is supported by an approved Justification and Approval (J&A). The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 811210 (Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance) with a corresponding Small Business Size Standard of $34 Million. The Contractor will provide project management, maintenance and repair of complex broadcast audio and video systems to include; television and radio automation, radio and television streaming, video on demand (VOD), satellite downlink antennas and radio frequency (RF) distribution, audio and video non-linear editing suites, information technology networks, on-line, near-line and off-line digital data storage, broadcast systems integration, draftsman support, telephone exchange, qualified personnel, common tools, test equipment (including calibration). 1. The proposed services require management and technical personnel to provide 24/7 audio-visual support for television broadcast operations from the American Forces Network-Broadcast Center (AFN-BC) and WMA-HQ. 2. Critical performance requirements mandate that all work performed by Contractor personnel shall be accomplished in accordance with established procedures, instructions, and standards.
