VENDOR QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS The following questions were received from industry and are answered below for all prospective offerors: Q1: The diagram provided in the attachment indicates a load requirement of 78,750 lbs, but other documentation suggests a different capacity. Can you confirm the correct load capacity? A1: The correct load capacity requirement is 16,000 lbs at 2000 PSI. The 78,750 lbs figure in the diagram is from a previous, unrelated requirement and should be disregarded, however the overall geometric layout should be approximately the same. Q2: Is a specific bore size required for the actuator? A2: No specific bore size is explicitly required, provided the actuator meets the 16,000 lbs load capacity. However, a 3.25" bore is suggested as appropriate. Q3: Does the government require MIL-spec material certifications for this procurement? A3: No, special material certifications (e.g., MIL-spec) are not required beyond standard DFARS compliance. Q4: What type of CUI, if any, will be processed, stored, or transmitted during the performance of this contract?
