The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research, a continuous process for collecting and analyzing information about capabilities within the market to satisfy agency needs. The acquisition strategy has not yet been determined, and market research results will assist in determining the direction this acquisition may take. 2. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of various members of industry, to include the Small Business Community: Small Business, Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), Service-Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB). Please provide sample quotes to be used for market research purposes only for the following items: This unit will provide wildland firefighters unmatched mobility, rapid attack capabilities, and access to rugged, inaccessible terrain. By bringing water, pumps, and hose reels directly into tight spaces, these units stop small fires from escalating and provide critical structure protection before heavy apparatus arrives. General Requirements: - Vehicles shall have red exterior panels - Vehicles shall be a crew cab and capable of seating at least 4 occupants with seatbelts - Vehicles shall be equipped with interior HVAC controls to include cabin heating with defroster and cabin air conditioning for cooling - Vehicles shall include a fully enclosed cabin and passenger doors - Vehicles shall include a full windshield, windshield wiper, and windshield cleaning capabilities - Vehicles shall be 1500 CC or greater in engine power - Vehicles shall have an automatic transmission and low-gear ratio for difficult terrain, and capable of all-wheel drive - Vehicle shall b…
