The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the acquisition of Misc Automation and Communication supported Parts to support of the National Air Space System (NAS) equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul activities, a list of parts to be included is attached.[CH1] The services are required by the FAA Logistics Center, Supply Chain Team, AJW-L840. It is anticipated that multiple Blanket Purchase Agreements will be awarded to meet this requirement. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposals of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals currently. The responses will be used to develop the source list for this requirement The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the services outlined in the Statement of Work. This market survey is also being conducted to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. The acquisition strategy for procurement has not been determined at this time; however, either unrestricted competition or a set-aside will be chosen depending on the responses to the market survey. Only those vendors responding to this market survey will be considered for further consideration under this requirement.
