The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The intended contract is a firm-fixed price. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following in support of the Boise VA Medical Center, 500 Fort Street, Boise, ID 83702-4501. The Boise VA Medical Center has a need for a base plus four option year contract for preventive maintenance and service on two (2) Eppendorf epMotion 5075 units. No used, refurbished, or remanufactured equipment/parts shall be provided. This procurement requires service using new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts only. No gray market items shall be provided. Gray market items are OEM goods intentionally or unintentionally sold outside an authorized sales territory or sold by non-authorized dealers in an authorized sales territory. Technicians, software & replacement parts will be required to be original equipment manufacturer (OEM) approved & certified verified by letter of authorization from OEM. All service associated with the epMotion 5075 units shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions.
