This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Background: The objective of this requirement provide for the preventive maintenance, scheduled repairs, and emergency response (available 24 hours per day, every day of the year), of the vertical transportation systems located at the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center ( FHCC ), Naval Station Great Lakes, 3001 Green Bay Road, North Chicago, Illinois 60064-3048, as set forth in this Performance Work Statement. Safe, reliable operation of all vertical transportation system components (collectively VTS Components ) is critical to patient care, and the Contractor shall execute all requirements of this Contract with this in mind. A complete listing of all VTS Components, including twenty-nine (31) elevators, two (2) cart lifts, and two (2) dumbwaiters, is set forth in the Vertical Transportation System Schedule at the end of this Statement of Work. Any additional vertical transportation system components put into service after award of this Contract shall be included in the Vertical Transportation System Inventory at price(s) consistent with the current Price Schedule via bilateral Modification, in accordance with FAR 52.212-4(c). If your organization has the potential capacity to perform these contract services, please provide the following information: 1) Organization name, address, email address, website address, if applicable, telephone number, and size and type of ownership for the organization; and 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort and documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. The Government will evaluate market information to ascertain potential market capacity to provide services consistent in scope and scale with those described in this notice and otherwise anticipated.
