Description of Requirement The United States Marine Corps has a requirement for a proprietary hardware, firmware, and connectivity upgrade package for twelve (12) existing, unit-owned MX908 Handheld High-Pressure Mass Spectrometer devices. In strict compliance with Marine Corps chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) defense requirements, these ruggedized tactical devices are utilized to rapidly detect, identify, and monitor trace-level gaseous, liquid, and solid threats in the field.
