Description
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Ft. Stewart, GA has a requirement for a firm fixed price, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for Flooring and is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing the services required. The work will be performed at Fort Stewart (Hinesville) and Hunter Army Airfield (Savannah) Georgia. The contractor will be required to furnish all labor, supplies, materials, supervision, transportation, equipment in performance of all operations required in connection with IDIQ Flooring contract. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to the following items. This will be an 8(a) competitive, 100% small business contract. SCOPE OF WORK: The work covered by this contract consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and performing all operations required in connection with Removal / Installation of floor covering, complete in strict accordance with specifications subject to the terms and conditions of the contract and as ordered by the Contracting Officer. This is a delivery order style contract in which individual delivery orders will be issued for a specific quantity of work to be performed in specific building(s), to be completed in a specific amount of time. All work performed on individual delivery orders will be IAW these specifications. The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to, the following items: 1.1.1. Remove existing flooring. 1.1.2. Install new carpet, resilient flooring, ceramic tile, rubber and special coating flooring. 1.1.3. The Contractor shall remove and relocate furniture and other personal items that interfere with the installation of floor covering. After completion of work, Contractor shall place all items back in original position. Contractor will not be responsible for moving any computer equipment it will be the user responsibility. 1.2. Ordering Procedures: 1.2.1. As the need exist for performance under the terms of this contract, the Contracting Officer or his/her authorized representative will notify the Contractor, in writing, of an existing requirement. 1.2.2. Upon receipt of this notification, the contractor shall respond within 2 (two) working days as follows: 1.2.2.1. Visiting the proposed work site with the Contracting Officer or his/her authorized representative. 1.2.2.2. Establishing verbal contact with the Contracting Officer or his/her representative to further define the scope of the requirement. The contractor shall, while on the site, take all measurements and make written notes as to the instructions and verbal information given during the initial site visit. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all measuring equipment, ladders, etc., needed to verify sizes within or outside the buildings. During the contract period, job scopings will be held to identify estimated line items quantities required to complete each specific job and individual task orders will be issued.
