The Naval Supply System Command (NAVSUP), Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk (FLCN) is conducting market research to remain competitive in an increasingly competitive world. The United States Naval Academy (USNA) Waterfront Readiness Department requires comprehensive support services to maintain and operate its training fleet. This program directly facilitates critical seamanship, navigation, and maritime operational training for Midshipmen. To ensure operational readiness throughout the academic year, the Contractor shall provide support for the maintenance, readiness, and upkeep of various vessel classes, including Yard Patrol (YP) Craft, sailboats, yachts, and associated small utility boats. The attached listing of requested supplies are noted in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) provided with this notice. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals, and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. This is a Request for Information (RFI) in anticipation of a potential future procurement program under NAICS code 339113 . Subject to FAR Clause 52.215-3, entitled Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, this announcement constitutes a Request for Information for written information only. RFI SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested parties shall submit responses to this RFI. Describe any past performance efforts with a similar scope to the proposed requirement. Indicate if your company can be a prime contractor for this effort or, if not, whether your company can be a subcontractor.
